In the spirit of creative collaboration, these unique sonic textures have been created by Ólafur Arnalds and a talented line-up of artists: Kiasmos, VAAL, Rhye, Poppy Ackroyd, Högni & Ensemble, Grandbrothers, Hania Rani & Josin. For Opia (meaning: the ambiguous intensity of looking someone in the eye), each artist submitted a sample that means something to them — from the sounds of ice skating, to pianos — warped by our expert team to create entirely new and unconventional textures.
